The horror trailer “Insidious 6” has been released

The film company Sony Pictures Entertainment presented the first trailer for the new horror film “Insidious 6”, the original title of which is Insidious: Out of the Further.

The film is positioned as a continuation of the film “Insidious: The Red Door,” released in the summer of 2023. However, despite the formal connection with the previous film, the plot will focus on completely new characters.

The story centers on a young woman and single mother named Gemma, who suddenly gains the ability to travel to and from an otherworldly dimension. This gift attracts the attention of dark forces seeking to use her as a portal to the world of the living.

The main role was played by British actress Amelia Eve, known to viewers from the series “The Haunting of Bly Manor” from Netflix and directed by Mike Flanagan.

The cast also includes Brandon Perea, familiar from the projects “No,” “Twisters” and the TV series “The OA,” as well as Maisie Richardson-Sellers, who starred in the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” franchise, as well as in the TV series “The Originals” and “Legends of Tomorrow.”

Separately noted is the return of Lin Shaye to the role of demonologist Alice Rayner. She remains the only character who has appeared in all parts of the Insidious franchise, despite the death of the heroine in the first film.

The director and screenwriter of the project was Jacob Chase, who previously worked on the horror film Let’s Play (2020).
