The conference took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The actress arrived there along with her fellow actors Austin Butler, Timothée Chalamet, and Zendaya. They talked to fans about the release of the second part of the Dune film.

While the artists were posing in front of the camera to take a photo, someone present threw an unknown object at the stars. It hit Florence right in the face. She grabbed her eye, and her colleagues turned to her and began to help her. The actress did not comment on the incident.
