When preparing a menu for a festive table, do not forget about appetizers. They can be prepared from various ingredients, including tomatoes. Tomatoes with cheese filling
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes (large) – 5 pcs.
- Curd cheese – 200 g
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Fresh dill – 20 g
- Salt, pepper – to taste
Preparation:
- Cut off the tops of the tomatoes and carefully remove the pulp with a spoon.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, crushed garlic, finely chopped dill, salt and pepper.
- Stuff the tomatoes with the cheese filling, garnish with a sprig of dill and serve.
Canapes with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil
Ingredients:
- Cherry tomatoes – 20 pcs.
- Mini mozzarella – 20 balls
- Basil leaves – 20 pcs.
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
- Balsamic vinegar – 1 tbsp.
- Salt, pepper – to taste
Preparation:
- Put cherry tomatoes, basil leaf and mozzarella ball on skewers.
- Mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the finished canapes before serving.
Tomato appetizer with mozzarella and basil
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes (medium) – 3 pcs.
- Mozzarella cheese – 200 g
- Basil – a few sprigs
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
- Balsamic cream – for serving
- Salt – to taste
Preparation:
- Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into round slices.
- Place the slices on a plate, alternating tomatoes and cheese.
- Decorate with basil leaves, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic cream.
Tomato rolls with ham
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes (large) – 4 pcs.
- Ham – 150 g
- Cream cheese – 100 g
- Lettuce leaves – 4 pcs.
Preparation:
- Cut the tomatoes into thin round slices.
- Cut the ham into strips.
- On each tomato slice, put some cream cheese, a piece of ham and a leaf of lettuce.
- Roll up and secure with a skewer.
Stuffed tomatoes with tuna
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes (large) – 5 pcs.
- Canned tuna – 1 can (150 g)
- Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp.
- Green onions – 10 g
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp.
Preparation:
- Cut off the tops of the tomatoes and remove the pulp.
- Mix the tuna, mayonnaise, finely chopped green onions and lemon juice.
- Put the filling into the tomatoes, garnish with herbs and serve.
