Red Velvet

Ingredients (for a 20 cm diameter cake):
- 250 g flour
- 200 g sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 120 ml vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 240 ml buttermilk or milk with 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp red food coloring
- 200 g cream cheese
- 100 g softened butter
- 150 g icing sugar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease a baking pan and dust with flour.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs with the butter, then add the vanilla, buttermilk, and food coloring.
- Combine the dry and wet ingredients, stirring gently until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- For the frosting, beat the cream cheese with the butter and icing sugar until fluffy.
- Slice the cooled cake into layers and frost with frosting. Decorate as desired.
Chocolate Fondant with Liquid Filling

Ingredients (serves 4):
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 50 g sugar
- 30 g flour
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C. Grease molds with butter and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler or microwave.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs, yolks, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gently fold the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, then add the flour.
- Pour the batter into the molds, filling them about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is still runny.
- Carefully remove the fondant from the molds and serve hot with berries or ice cream.
Chocolate-Dipped Berries

Ingredients:
- 200 g fresh strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries
- 150 g chocolate
- Shredded coconut or chopped nuts for garnish
Directions:
- Wash the berries and pat dry with paper towels.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until runny.
- Dip the berries in the chocolate until completely coated.
- Place the berries on parchment paper and sprinkle with shredded coconut or nuts.
- Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
- Serve chilled, beautifully arranged on a plate.
