DIY photo album made of paper and cardboard
This is the easiest way to create a beautiful photo book. You can make it yourself, but for work you will need:
- thick cardboard for the cover;
- sheets for the middle, can be smooth, laminated;
- scissors, glue;
- stationery knife;
- decor.
The first thing to do is the cover. Take several sheets of thick cardboard, cut them so that they are the same size. Stick them on the backing material – it can be plain paper.
Since you will have pages for photos inside, keep in mind that when creating a cover, you need to take care of a fairly wide center. Pages will be attached to it. This is best done with a cord or strong thread. Punch holes with a hole punch at an identical distance. Next sew all the pages.
When the middle is ready, it is necessary to make a binding. To do this, prepare narrow strips (3-4 mm), which should be slightly denser than sheets for photographs. Cut as many strips as there are pages in the photo album. You need to bend each strip in width and then put the sheets into it, securing it with glue.
After that, the pages are fixed with a cloth with glue and fixed on the middle part of the cover.
You can also cut sheets of the same size from thick cardboard. Tie them together with ribbons or special clips. Decorate each as you wish.

The most important part of creating a photo album with your own hands is its design. You can safely create and use different decor. For example, covers covered with expensive fabric look beautiful. You can also stick beads, rhinestones, coins, shells and much more on them.
