Easter eggs from threads: crafts for children and adults

How to make an Easter egg from threads step by step

This is a very easy craft for the manufacture of which you can attract your household. Your children will be delighted with the fun process. Threads can be taken of any width – from sewing to floss.

Materials:

• small balls;
• PVA glue;
• scissors;
• threads of different colors;
• scissors;
• Bowl;
• water.

1. Inflate the balloons to the size you need. It is better if they are slightly oval (ovoid).

2. Mix equal parts glue and water in a wide bowl. The mixture should have a liquid consistency.

3. If you know the length of the thread for crafts in advance, you can immediately cut off the desired length and place it all in a bowl of glue. When the thread is completely wet with glue, thread it around the balloon. Leave empty spaces so that the inside of the egg is visible.

4. If you don’t know what length will go for the craft, take the thread by one end, dip it into the glue mixture, and then wrap it around the balloon. Make sure that the thread passes through the glue before wrapping. Repeat randomly until the balloon is evenly coated.

5. Repeat this with the rest of the balls and threads of different colors. You can combine multi-colored threads on one egg and create beautiful patterns.

6. Wait for the glue to dry for about 6-8 hours. After that, pierce the balloon with scissors or a pin, wait until it is completely deflated, and carefully remove the rest.

Tip: put candy or small sweets inside the balloon before inflating it. When you later pierce the balloon, they will remain inside. This craft can decorate a room or a festive table, it will make beautiful garlands and a wreath on the wall. Eggs from threads can remain a decoration of the house even after the holiday has passed.
