Cold, rain, snow, seasonal lack of vitamins affect our body and it did not take long to see the result. We can see this result on our slipping, brittle and wayward hair. It seems like the only way out of the situation is to go to the hairdresser’s and make it much shorter. A short hairstyle is an alternative, but is it worth the rush?
Try to save your hair and breathe new life into it. We have selected several effective masks that can be made at home.
Avocado mask
Our hair needs good care after winter colds and warm hats. Like the whole body, it also needs vitamins. You can nourish your hair by making a mask with avocado. This fruit is saturated with various vitamins, micro- and macronutrients, that’s why it not only makes our hair silken but also stimulates its growth.
Ingredients for the mask:
- 1 avocado;
- 1 egg yolk;
- 3 drops of rosemary essential oil.
If you have long curls, the number of ingredients must be proportionally increased.
Apply the prepared mask over the entire hair length, leaving 2-3 cm from the roots. Wait 20 minutes. and wash your hair from top to bottom. You will definitely see a good result, but don’t rush to use the mask every day. It will be enough to use it once every two weeks for oily hair, once every 7 days for normal hair, and twice a week for dry hair.
Homemade mask with mustard
Everyone has heard that masks with mustard are a very effective remedy and there is no need to doubt that. The seeds of this plant are a mine of vitamins and other useful microelements. They are used in cooking, medicine and, of course, in cosmetology. The use of this mask causes the burning of the scalp, thereby improving blood circulation. The hair follicles are enriched with oxygen, and the hair is saturated with nutrients. This mask improves hair structure and activates its growth.
Ingredients:
- dry mustard powder – 2 tbsp;
- warm water – 2 tbsp;
- egg yolk – 1;
- honey – 1 tsp;
- almond or olive oil – 1 tbsp.
You can apply a mustard mask both on the roots and along the whole length. Avoid applying the mask on the ends not to overdry them. It will be enough to keep it for 30-40 minutes, but if you leave it for an hour, it won’t be bad at all. If you will have an unbearable burning sensation wash the mask off as ASAP. To get the desired result, use the mask once a week for a month, then make a two-month break.
Horseradish Hair Growth Masks
Horseradish has long been considered a miracle cure. It not only treats dozens of diseases, rejuvenates the skin, but also perfectly strengthens the hair, eliminates dandruff and promotes hair growth.
Of course, grating horseradish is not a pleasant thing, but your hair will definitely be grateful to you. If you don’t want to cry every three days, prepare the horseradish for several times in advance. It can be perfectly stored in the refrigerator in a tightly closed container for three weeks.
There are many different masks, but you need to choose the one that is more suitable for your hair type. Don’t be lazy and apply it about three times a week and in half a month you’ll see one hundred percent result.
Revitalizing mask for dry hair
To prepare this mask take:
- grated horseradish – 2 tbsp;
- sour cream – 1 tbsp;
- burdock or olive oil – 1 tbsp.
Apply the mask on dirty hair for 40 minutes. Create a sauna effect: put on a plastic hat or bag and wrap it with a towel. After that rinse your hair thoroughly with a suitable shampoo.
Mask for oily hair
For this mask prepare some chamomile tea first: put 2 tbsp. of dried chamomile into 50 grams of boiling water and leave for 2 hours.
Mix the necessary ingredients:
- grated horseradish – 2 tbsp;
- chamomile tea – 4 tbsp;
- jojoba oil – 2 tbsp;
- tea tree essential oil – 8-9 drops.
As in the previous recipe keep the mask for 40 minutes.
Restoring mask for brittle hair
If your hair has become brittle from daily styling, irons, hairdryers, and sprays, this mask will be your panacea. Each of its ingredients separately gives a tremendous effect, but together they make a real healing elixir:
- grated horseradish – 1 tbsp;
- aloe juice (or 1 ampoule of extract) – 1 tsp;
- egg yolk – 1 tbsp;
- almond oil – 1 tsp;
- sea buckthorn oil – 1 tbsp.
This mask is enough to apply for 20-30 minutes.
Masks made from natural products at home amaze with the results. Therefore, there are no regrets about the efforts made, the time and money spent.
