Mascara crumbled
If mascara crumbled under the eyes, do not rub it off right away. Wait until it dries completely, and then carefully remove it with a cotton swab. Dry mascara crumbles easily, leaving no black streaks. After that, you can slightly correct the concealer or powder the area under the eyes.
Saving uneven arrows and eyeliner
If the arrow is asymmetrical or accidentally smudged, do not rush to erase everything. Just lightly moisten a cotton swab with micellar water and carefully correct the line. To even out the edges and mask traces, apply a little concealer and blend.
How to remove excess foundation
If the foundation is too thick or has become blotchy, a clean damp sponge will save the day. Go over the problem areas with light patting movements to absorb the excess and even out the coverage. You can also apply a little moisturizing spray or thermal water for freshness.
If the lipstick has gone beyond the contour or has smudged
If the lipstick has “run away” beyond the lip line or has smudged, carefully remove the excess with a cotton swab with a drop of micellar water. Then apply concealer along the lip contour to even out the shape and make the makeup more neat. For durability, you can also lightly powder the area around the mouth.
Too much blush or bronzer
Don’t panic – a clean fluffy brush or sponge will help to blend the intense pigment. You can lightly go over the skin with powder – this will muffle the color and make the transitions smoother. The same trick works with bronzer if it turned out too saturated.
