There are different types of such products, depending on the size of the particles and additional ingredients. They are chosen taking into account the skin type.

  • For dry and sensitive skin, soft scrubs with small sugar particles and moisturizing oils (coconut, shea, almond) are suitable.
  • For normal skin, you can use a scrub with medium sugar particles.
  • For oily and problematic skin, scrubs with added antibacterial components (tea tree, charcoal, lemon) are suitable.

How to use a sugar scrub

Before using a scrub, it is important to properly prepare the skin. You need to wash your face with warm water to open the pores. Leave the skin slightly damp – this way the scrub will work more effectively.

Technique for applying a sugar scrub

  • Apply a small amount of scrub to the skin;
  • Massage the skin with light circular movements for 1-2 minutes;
  • Avoid pressing too hard so as not to injure the skin;
  • For the face, use softer movements, especially in the areas around the eyes and lips;
  • For the body, you can massage more intensively, especially in areas with rough skin (elbows, knees, heels).

After that, rinse off the product with warm water and pat the skin dry with a towel, but do not rub it. Apply a moisturizer or oil to soothe the skin.
