A24 Film Company has released the debut trailer for “Drama,” a dark comedy from director Kristoffer Borgli, who previously directed “Dreamscape” starring Nicolas Cage.
The film centers on a young married couple, played by Zendaya, known for her roles in the series “Euphoria” and the film “The Rivals,” and Robert Pattinson, known for “Batman” and the “Twilight” saga. As their wedding approaches, their characters begin to slowly lose control of their own reality. The film also stars Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hayley Gates.
The official synopsis describes a happily engaged couple facing a serious test when a sudden event completely disrupts their wedding week plans.
“Drama” is scheduled to premiere in theaters on April 3rd. However, the film won’t be the only collaboration between Zendaya and Pattinson in the near future. Next summer, the actors will appear together in Christopher Nolan’s new film, “The Odyssey,” and in late 2026, they will reunite on screen in “Dune: Part III.”
