Netflix has released a new teaser for the fourth season of Bridgerton and shared details about it, including its release date.
The plot centers on Benedict Bridgerton, a character played by Luke Thompson who has previously remained in the background. This time, the eternal romantic will finally find his own love story, one that could lead to a long-awaited wedding.
At a traditional masquerade ball, Benedict meets a mysterious stranger and falls in love at first sight. However, his beloved turns out to be not a member of high society, but a smart and independent maid named Sophie, played by Australian actress Erin Ha.
Like previous seasons, the new one will be based on the books by Julia Quinn, specifically the third novel in the series, “A Gentleman’s Proposal.”
The fourth season of “Bridgerton” will consist of eight episodes, divided into two parts: the first will air on January 29th, and the second on February 26th.
