A24 Film Studios has released a trailer for the sweeping psychological thriller “Mother Mary,” starring Oscar winner Anne Hathaway—the star of “The Devil Wears Prada,” “Les Miserables,” “Ocean’s Eleven,” and “The Odyssey.”
The film centers on the story of a famous pop artist, performing under the stage name “Mother Mary.” She turns to her designer to create a unique dress that will embody her inner world. Over time, a bond develops between them that transcends the boundaries of ordinary perception.
In addition to Hathaway, the project also stars Michaela Cole, Hunter Schafer, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, Alba Baptista, and singer FKA twigs.
The film was directed by David Lowery, known for “A Ghost Story” and “The Legend of the Green Knight.”
“Mother Mary” is scheduled for theatrical release in spring 2026, tentatively April. The exact premiere date will be announced later.
