Marvel Studios has unveiled the second official teaser for the long-awaited film Avengers: Doomsday, which premieres on December 18, 2026.
The first trailer, released on December 23, showed the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, while the new trailer focuses on Thor, once again played by Chris Hemsworth. The film was directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, known for their work on Captain America: The Second World War and Avengers: Infinity War.
The biggest surprise was the return of Robert Downey Jr., who previously portrayed Tony Stark/Iron Man in ten films, but this time he will appear as the iconic Marvel villain Victor von Doom.
The project also features stars of the MCU: Vanessa Kirby (Fantastic Four: First Steps), Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Sebastian Stan (Captain America: The Second World War), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Wyatt Russell (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), David Harbour (Black Widow), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), as well as Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal, and others.
In addition to the trailers, the studio released the film’s first poster, with the tagline “Doomsday is coming,” emphasizing the scale and tension of the upcoming film.
