Amazon Prime Video has released the first clip from Fallout Season 2 – a short scene set in the town of Novac. This location will be immediately recognizable to fans of Fallout: New Vegas.
In the clip, Lucy MacLain climbs into the enormous mouth of Dinky, a giant dinosaur towering over the Dino Dee-lite Motel. In the game universe, this building was once a souvenir shop and a hideout for sniper Boone.
According to the episode’s plot, Lucy and Ghoul attempt to outwit raiders from the Khan tribe: they frame Ghoul for a dangerous criminal, collect the reward, and then plan to disappear by cutting the rope around his neck. But Lucy, unlike her more ruthless partner, doubts the reliability of this plan and tries to wriggle out of it through diplomacy.
The second season of Fallout is scheduled to premiere on December 17th. This time, episodes will be released weekly – the final episode is scheduled for February 4th, unlike the first season, which was released in its entirety on a single day.
