The first trailer for “Greenland 2” has been released

The first official trailer for the sequel to the disaster film “Greenland” (2020) has been released. The new film is titled “Greenland 2: Migration.”

Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, and Roman Griffin Davis return to star. The film is scheduled to premiere in theaters on January 9, 2026. Like the first film, Ric Roman Waugh directed, and Mitchell LaFortune and Chris Sparling wrote the screenplay.

According to the official synopsis, the events unfold after a comet impact destroys a significant portion of Earth. The Garrity family must leave their refuge in Greenland and embark on a perilous journey across a post-apocalyptic world in search of a new place to live.
