The first trailer for “Shrek 5” has been released: when will the premiere take place

Universal Pictures has presented the first trailer for the fifth part of the cartoon “Shrek”. We will again see famous characters on the big screens, who have become favorites of millions of people, as well as new characters.

The teaser shows a new heroine – the daughter of Shrek and Fiona. By the way, she was voiced by Zendaya. Also, the cartoon will feature a magic mirror, which is adapted to modern trends.

In “Shrek 5”, the characters will be voiced by actors who worked on them before: Mike Myers (Shrek), Eddie Murphy (Donkey) and Cameron Diaz (Fiona). At the moment, it is unknown whether Antonio Banderas will return to the role of the cat.

The film is scheduled to premiere on big screens on December 23, 2026.
