The first trailer for the drama film “Steve” from Netflix has been released

The streaming service Netflix has presented the first official trailer for the social drama “Steve”. The main role is played by Oscar winner Cillian Murphy.

The events of this film unfold over the course of one day. It tells the story of a man named Steve, the director of a school for boys with behavioral and social problems. The film is based on the story “Shy” by Max Porter, which was published in 2023. It tells the story of a 16-year-old teenager Shai, and also raises questions of childhood, maturity, compassion, cruelty, despair, art.

The film will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025.
