DreamWorks Animation has released the full trailer for the fantasy film How to Train Your Dragon. The first trailer was released a few days earlier during Super Bowl 2025.
This film is a new reimagining of the hit 2010 cartoon, which was based on the book by British children’s writer Cressida Cowell.
The plot of the film takes place on Tup Island, where Vikings and dragons have been enemies for many centuries. Here lives young Hiccup, the son of the chieftain Stoick the Mighty. He befriends Toothless, a formidable dragon of the Night Fury breed. Thanks to this union, the true nature of dragons is revealed, and the foundations of Viking society are called into question.
The director of this film is Dean DeBlois, who directed the animated series “How to Train Your Dragon” (2010, 2014 and 2019). The film will be released on June 12, 2025.
