The streaming platform Prime Video has released the full trailer for the fifth season of the popular anti-superhero series “The Boys.” The new season will be the final chapter of the story, concluding the characters’ long-running conflict.
The released trailer makes it clear that viewers can expect a decisive showdown between the “Boys” team and the superheroes in the upcoming episodes. Apparently, Billy Butcher intends to finally obtain his superpowers to have an equal chance against his enemies. Meanwhile, Homelander is obsessed with achieving immortality and strengthening his power.
Most of the actors familiar to viewers from previous installments of the series will return to their roles in the final season.
The final season of the show, created by showrunner Eric Kripke, is scheduled to premiere on April 8, 2026. Viewers will see a total of eight episodes: the first two will air simultaneously, with the finale scheduled for May 20.
