Warner Bros. Pictures has officially unveiled the first trailer for Joker: Madness for Two. This is the sequel to the film Joker, which won an Oscar in 2019.
Joaquin Phoenix will play the Joker in the sequel. It was for this character that the actor received the highest award of the American Film Academy. But Harley Quinn is played by Oscar-winning Lady Gaga.
According to the plot, the Joker is placed in Arkham Asylum, where he awaits trial for his crimes. He struggles with his dual personality, but at the same time finds true love and finds the music that has always been inside of him.
Lady Gaga played one of the main roles in the film. She also became the film’s musical consultant. Executive producers include Michael E. Uslan, Georgia Kachandes, Silver, Mark Friedberg and Jason Ruder. Joker is scheduled to be released on October 4, 2024.
