Marvel Studios has released the third teaser for the upcoming blockbuster “Avengers: Doomsday” scheduled for release on December 18, 2026.
The new trailer highlights the iconic heroes of the original “X-Men” film trilogy. Patrick Stewart returns to the project, reprising his role as Professor Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and James Marsden, reprising his role as Cyclops. The film will unite characters from different eras of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the superheroes face a massive threat—a powerful antagonist played by Robert Downey Jr. The film’s cast is impressive in its scope. It includes Chris Evans, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, Channing Tatum, and Pedro Pascal.
It’s worth remembering that the first trailer, released on December 23rd, marked the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Captain America. The second teaser focused on Chris Hemsworth’s character, Thor. The new Avengers film is being directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, who previously collaborated successfully on Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Infinity War.
