Disney Studios has presented the first trailer for James Cameron’s third film from the Avatar franchise. It is called “Avatar: Fire and Ash”, the film is scheduled for release on December 19, 2025.
The third part of the film will introduce viewers to the new people of Pandora – Mankwan. The trailer shows how Jake Sully’s family and the Metkayina clan unite to confront the Varang and her fire army, which has allied itself with Quaritch.
Initially, parts of the franchise “The Way of Water” and “Fire and Ash” were conceived as one film. But Cameron separated them when the script grew into a larger story. He hinted that the new part will feature new characters that viewers may either love or hate.
