The trailer for the tense thriller “Maid” has been officially released. It was based on the best-selling novel of the same name by American author and traumatic brain injury doctor Frieda McFadden.
The plot follows Millie, a young woman with a dark past who has almost given up hope of finding work, who receives a job as a live-in maid at the luxurious Winchester family estate. They look like they stepped out of a fashion magazine – the perfect wife, Nina, and her attractive businessman husband, Andrew. Their daughter, Cecilia, seems like a true gift from fate. But gradually, her life unfolds into a tangled web of nightmares and temptations, the price of which could be very high, as the family has a secret.
The film stars Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried. Brandon Sklenar and Michele Morrone also star.
