A trailer for the horror series “It: Welcome to Derry” has been released, where we will see the clown Pennywise. This series has become a prequel to the “It” films, which were directed by Andres Muschietti.
The action in the series, the creation of which was based on the novel by Stephen King, takes place in 1962 – 26 years before the events of the first film “It”. The script was written by Muschietti, his sister Barbara and Jason Fuchs.

Muschietti also directed four of the nine episodes. In several interviews, he said that the series will tell the story in reverse order, taking into account the three seasons. In his opinion, the series will explore new facets of Pennywise and related stories that the films could not delve into. The series is expected to be released in the fall of 2025.
