The trailer for the biographical sports drama “Christy” has been officially released, starring Sydney Sweeney.
The film tells the story of American professional boxer Christy Martin and will show her path to becoming the most famous boxer in America in the 1990s. The film will also show the attempted murder of Christy by her husband in 2010.
Sydney Sweeney, who is considered one of the most attractive actresses in the United States, has changed beyond recognition for the role. She gained weight, pumped up, and changed her hair color to black.
The film premiered on September 5, 2025, at the Toronto International Film Festival. But it is expected to be shown in cinemas starting in November 2025.
