ChatGPT Can Change Its Personality

ChatGPT now offers updated personalization tools, giving users more control over how the bot communicates.

New features have been added to the “Personalization” section of the service’s settings. Users can now:

• choose the overall style and tone of their responses – from businesslike and friendly to ironic, creative, extremely pragmatic, frank, or even sarcastic;
• finely adjust individual aspects of the bot’s “personality,” such as the degree of emotion and warmth in responses;
• specify how often to use lists and emoji – reduce their number or, conversely, make them a more prominent part of the conversation.

Thus, ChatGPT effectively has the ability to change its “personality” based on the user’s preferences.

Additionally, the updated version of the service now features a chat pinning feature. Important conversations can now be pinned to the top of the list, keeping them always at hand.

As a reminder, the chat developers previously introduced their own browser with built-in artificial intelligence.
