xAI, the company founded by Elon Musk, has reached an agreement with the authorities of El Salvador to launch a major educational initiative for schoolchildren using the chatbot Grok.
The program is planned to be implemented in more than 5,000 public educational institutions across the country. xAI itself calls this project the world’s first national educational system built around artificial intelligence technologies.
According to the company, Grok will be implemented in schools over the next two years, reaching over one million students. The main goal of the initiative is to create a personalized learning format in which AI adapts to the abilities, learning speed, and interests of each child, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Elon Musk noted that integrating Grok into the educational system will help “give access to advanced artificial intelligence to an entire generation,” turning AI into a familiar learning tool from an early age, rather than just a professional resource for adults.
xAI also expressed its willingness to collaborate with other countries and invited governments interested in similar projects to contact the company directly.
Scientists previously stated that artificial intelligence could destroy humanity within 10 years.
