Recently, scientists have made a unique discovery. Thus, three exoplanets revolve around the star Kepler-10, 560 light years from Earth. Among them, Kepler-10 c deserves special attention. And this planet is a unique water world with ice and liquid layers.
The exoplanet Kepler-10 c is 2.3 times larger than Earth, but it has a lower density. Its mass is 11 Earth masses. This suggests that the planet consists mainly of water ice, and its atmosphere consists of water vapor. According to scientists, it was formed in the cold regions of the system, after which it migrated closer to the star.

By the way, another planet from this system – Kepler-10 b – is a rocky world similar to Earth, but with a very high temperature. Its surface is probably covered with lava.
Recall that the DKIST telescope showed a giant sunspot, the size of Switzerland.
