By 2032, the first-ever hotel complex could appear on the Moon. Interested parties can already apply to reserve a room and become part of this historic initiative, but the cost of a space vacation is staggering.
This was announced by GRU Space, a private project in the space industry that bills itself as the world’s first developer and operator of lunar real estate.
The company’s press release clarifies that anyone interested can submit an application to be among the first guests to reserve a room at the unique hotel on the Moon. This offers a rare opportunity to participate in shaping a new era of human space exploration.

It is important to note that this is not standard space tourism. To date, only 12 people have walked on the Moon, so participating in this project is a chance to contribute to the creation of the first conditions for life beyond Earth.
If a tourist is approved, they will be asked to sign a deposit agreement and make a down payment of $250,000 or $1 million, depending on the chosen package. The deposit is fully refundable within the first 30 days. This amount will then be applied to the final cost of the stay when the hotel opens to guests.
The exact price per room has not yet been determined, but is expected to exceed $10 million. Participants will also be required to provide personal, medical, and financial documentation to confirm their eligibility for the flight and secure their reservation. The company promises to support the client throughout the entire preparation process.
The application itself requires a non-refundable fee of $1,000.
As a reminder, scientists have discovered the fastest asteroid.
