Alec Baldwin acquitted of manslaughter charges

American actor Alec Baldwin has been cleared of all charges of involuntary manslaughter of cameraman Galina Hutchins. So, the New Mexico State Attorney’s Office dropped the charges against him, which were brought against him after the terrible tragedy on the set of the film Rust.

Lawyers for the Hollywood actor said they were satisfied with the outcome of the case. They also called for a proper investigation into the facts and circumstances of the incident. The dismissal of the charges was announced less than two weeks before the start of the trial.

Recall that Alec Baldwin was accused of inadvertently killing cameraman Galina Hutchins, as well as injuring another member of the film crew in 2021.
