Bob Marley’s grandson, reggae singer Joseph Merce Marley, dies

Bob Marley’s grandson Joseph Merce Marley has died at the age of 31. He is a Jamaican-American reggae artist and has followed in the footsteps of his star grandfather. According to People, the musician was found unconscious in the car, he died shortly after.

Joseph Merca Marley performed under the stage name Joe Merca. He suffered from asthma all his life. The artist was found in his own car in the United States, but the cause of death is not disclosed. True, Florida radio station WZPP stated that he died of an asthma attack.

Recall that Bob Marley himself died at the age of 36, in 1981, from cancer. He had 11 children from 7 women. And Joseph Merca Marley was born from the son of the legendary singer – Stephen Marley. He spent his early years in Jamaica, then moved to Florida. Released two albums in 2014 and 2021.
