Britney Spears and Elton John have released the long-awaited collaborative track. This song is a reimagining of Elton’s classic “Tiny Dancer”. The new song is called “Hold Me Closer” and hit streaming services on Friday.
The new song includes the cold voice of Elton John and the beautiful vocals of Britney Spears. In some ways, it resembles the Elton John song “The One”, which was released in 1992. The track has already received high marks, including from the singer’s lawyer Matthew Rosengart.
Exclusively to Page Six, the lawyer said that after all the efforts to remove Britney Spears’ father from guardianship, questions rained down on him what the singer would do next. He replied that for the first time in 13 years, it depends only on Britney herself. And it should not surprise anyone that her first attempt was a success.
Note that the track “Hold Me Closer” became the first official single by Britney Spears for many years. So, the last single in her career was the single “Slumber Party”, which appeared in the album “Glory”.
