Andy Taylor’s illness was reported by his bandmates after he was unable to attend Duran Duran’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The musicians read out a letter from the guitarist, in which he said that he had been trying to overcome cancer for four years. The musician apologized to the fans for not being able to join the group.
In the letter, in particular, Andy Taylor said that he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. It is impossible to recover from it, but the current state of the artist does not pose an immediate threat to life.
Duran Duran’s performance in Los Angeles became important to her. After all, for the first time in 17 years, all participants had to reunite in order to play in full force.
