Actor Henry Cavill has announced that he will no longer play the role of Superman. He wrote about this on his social networks, making a touching statement. In particular, he noted that he would not return to the role in the DC Universe.
Henry Cavill wrote that he dated James Gunn and Peter Safran. During the meeting, it was revealed that he would not be returning to the role of Superman after the studio told him to announce a return in October.
“This news is not the easiest, but this is life. There is a changing of the guard. I respect that,” the actor wrote.
He also added that Gann and Safran would have to build the universe. Cavill wished everyone involved good luck and all the best.
Recall that Henry Cavill appeared in a cameo role at the end of the film “Black Adam”. Thus, he hinted at the return to the universe and the upcoming duel between Superman and Black Adam. This happened days before James Gunn and Peter Safran became the new executives of DC Films. Cavill himself for the sake of Superman refused to participate in the Witcher project.
