Jennifer Lopez has officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck

Hollywood actress and singer Jennifer Lopez has officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.

She filed the documents in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 20, TMZ reports. This was not done by her lawyer, but by J. Lo herself. By the way, she indicated that the actual date of termination of relations with the actor is April 26, 2024. It was then that information about serious problems in the couple’s family relationship appeared in the media.

According to the documents, Jennifer Lopez is not going to improve relations with the actor and asks Ben Affleck not to do so either. According to the publication’s source, the spouses did not enter into a prenuptial agreement. Therefore, all their earnings for two years of marriage are considered common. It is unknown how they are going to divide the funds.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez first tried to get married in 2002. They got engaged, but broke up a year later. Almost 20 years later, they started dating again. In July 2022, the actor and singer got married in Los Angeles. And in the spring of this year, information appeared that the couple was on the verge of divorce.
