The Princess of Wales’s appeal was urgent and was made public by Kensington Palace for a reason. This happened due to a leak of information about the diagnosis.
According to British media, Kensington Palace published Kate Middleton’s message much earlier than planned. After all, there was a leak of information about her health. This is stated by Ephraim Hardcastle in a column for the tabloid The DailyMail. Thus, the palace tried to get ahead of the dissemination of the princess’s diagnosis by third parties.
Sources do not specify whether the leak was related to the private London Clinic, where Kate underwent surgery. But it is said that someone tried to leak information about the Princess of Wales’s cancer, so the palace had no other choice.
Let us remind you that Kate Middleton recorded a video message in which she said that she had cancer. She is undergoing preventive chemotherapy. The princess was diagnosed after a planned abdominal operation, revealing malignant cells by accident.
