The family of the most famous race car driver in the world, Michael Schumacher, is suing the German weekly Die Aktuelle. He published a fake interview with the seven-time Formula 1 champion. Reuters writes about it.
As it became known, the publishers of the magazine took advantage of the artificial intelligence program and generated answers to questions to Schumacher. This is how the material “My Life Has Completely Changed” appeared, which appeared on the front page of the magazine with a photo of Schumacher under the headings “First Interview” and “World Sensation”. In small print, almost imperceptibly, it was written that this was not a genuine interview of the rider, but the fruits of the work of artificial intelligence. But since this postscript was invisible, the material misled many readers.
In an interview, by the way, as if on behalf of Schumacher it was written that his life completely changed after the fall. And that time was terrible for his wife and children.
Recall that in December 2013, while skiing, Michael Schumacher suffered a head injury. He underwent several operations, he spent six months in a coma. In 2019, the rider was taken to the cardiology department of a hospital in Paris. There, he underwent a stem cell transplant into heart tissue. And then one of the employees of the medical center let slip that the star was conscious.
After that, Schumacher’s wife was accused of hiding the truth about the driver’s condition. But she replied that Michael was in safe hands and did not want to disclose health data himself.
