The star of the series “Santa Barbara”, American actress Janice Page, whose real name was Donna May Tjaden, died at the age of 101.
The actress’s life ended on June 2 in her own home in Los Angeles. This was announced by the star’s friend Stuart Lampert in a comment to Metro. Janice died of natural causes.
The actress was known for her performances in cult TV series and films. She played in “Santa Barbara,” “The Pajama Game,” “Silk Stockings” and many other films. Her brilliant career began in 1944, and a few years later she received her first leading role. The actress also took part in performances on Broadway. She was one of the last representatives of Hollywood’s Golden Age, and stopped acting in films at the age of 80.
Janice Paige grew up with only her mother. And in her interviews, she said that she was inspired to work hard in theater and cinema by the divorce of her mother and father.
