Shannen Doherty names who played a key role in her long-term battle with cancer

Hollywood actress Shannen Doherty, star of the TV series Beverly Hills, 90210, told who played a key role in her fight against cancer. In the latest episode of the Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty podcast, the actress admitted that 90s star David Charvet became her support. He found her a new doctor after she began to feel “a little lost” following her breast cancer diagnosis in 2015.

The actress admitted that she felt abandoned to the mercy of fate. She knew something needed to change, but she didn’t know how.

Shannen Doherty admitted that many patients feel that they do not have the right to ask for a better doctor or change him. Or they’re afraid insurance won’t cover it. She felt this way until her friend Chris called her. He said that he is good friends with David Charvet. And the latter wanted to introduce her to the oncologist who saved his father from cancer.

The new doctor wasted no time in helping her move forward on her treatment journey. He insisted that the actress immediately visit his clinic.

Let us remember that in 2017 the actress was in remission. But three years later the cancer returned in stage four. In January 2023, she had brain metastases and Shannen Doherty underwent surgery.
