British actor David Warner has died at the age of 81. He is best known for his role as Spacer Lovejoy in Titanic.
The actor died in a nursing home in Northwood. This place has created special conditions for representatives of theatrical professions and actors. The cause of death was cancer.
The actor’s daughter and son issued a statement to the BBC confirming his death. They, in particular, said that over the past 18 months, the actor has approached his diagnosis with dignity and grace. The Warner family also added that they were heartbroken. He will be missed and remembered as a generous, kindhearted and empathic person.
During his career, David Warner has acted in approximately 200 films. He is known for such roles as “Tron”, “Omen”, “Avatar”, “Sweeney Todd”, “Men in Black”, “Planet of the Apes”, “The Lost World” and others. He played quite often the role of villains. Every game he played was amazing.
