The family of renowned American actor Tommy Lee Jones has issued an official statement following the tragic death of his daughter, Victoria Jones. The body of the 34-year-old woman was found unresponsive.
According to People magazine, the incident occurred on January 1 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Journalists have obtained a recording of the emergency services call, which indicates that the incident is being treated as a possible overdose. Investigators have found no signs of foul play, but the exact cause of death remains undetermined. The actor’s family issued a brief statement thanking everyone who expressed support:
“We appreciate the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. During this difficult time, we ask for your understanding regarding our privacy.”

Court documents indicate that Victoria Jones has been detained by law enforcement at least twice in the past year, including for possession of controlled substances. Representatives of the Fairmont San Francisco confirmed the incident and said they are fully cooperating with the police, offering their condolences to the family of the deceased.
Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his ex-wife, Kimberly Clafley. The family also has a son, Austin, 43. Victoria appeared on screen with her father in the film “Men in Black II,” and also starred in the film “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada” and the television series “One Tree Hill.”
