OpenAI is launching a new feature in ChatGPT. It is called Tasks and offers users the ability to schedule their tasks, as well as set reminders.
With the new feature, ChatGPT will work like the electronic assistants we are already familiar with: Google Assistant or Siri. But at the same time, you will have access to more advanced features. Both one-time and permanent tasks are provided. For example, you can ask ChatGPT to remind you of important meetings, inform you of the weather forecast, and much more. In addition, the chatbot will be able to independently issue suggestions for reminders, taking into account your previous conversations with it, but only with prior permission.
At the moment, the feature has become available to subscribers of the following plans: Plus, Team and Pro. To use it, you need to select “4o with scheduled tasks”. Tasks can be managed in chat threads or through the new Tasks section, which is available in the profile menu. Once configured, notifications will be received both in the web version of the chatbot, and in the mobile or PC version.
The chatbot works with 10 active tasks at a time. It is also unknown whether the function will be available or whether it requires a subscription.
