Robotics researcher and founder of Shouxing Technology, Yuhan Hu, presented a video of a humanoid female robot displaying amazingly realistic emotions. In the video, the robot blinks naturally, carefully examines the room and reacts to what is happening around, creating the impression of a live interlocutor.
Experts note that industrially oriented humanoid robots already exist, but the main task now is to make them socially attractive and capable of emotional interaction with people.
In addition, a video has appeared where a robotic platform equipped with Omni AI conducts an almost natural dialogue. Multimodal interaction AI allows the machine to see, hear and respond appropriately during communication, creating the impression of a live interaction.
Analysts stress that robots that simply perform industrial tasks will not be a real revolution if cheaper mechanical arms can do the same work more efficiently.
These robots can blink, track faces, and respond with subtle facial movements, making communication more natural.
Thus, future humanoid robots may be developed not only to perform human functions, but also for communication and socialization. And in this case, the main element will be not so much their body, but their face, which is capable of conveying emotions and creating a feeling of a living presence.
Recall that in China, a humanoid robot learned to play tennis.
