Inventor Elon Musk plans to send Tesla Optimus robots to Mars. These humanoids are scheduled to fly to the neighboring planet with the SpaceX mission at the end of 2026.

Optimus robots were introduced in October 2024 as household assistants. Musk said that these robots will do everything a person wants. For example, they can be your friends, serve drinks, walk your dog, buy groceries and much more.

Now these robots will be used in space as autonomous explorers.
Recall that it was previously announced that Elon Musk’s company will begin implanting the Blindsight neurochip in people to restore vision.
