For the first time in history, a humanoid robot has been enrolled in a graduate program at one of China’s leading universities. His name is Xueba and he will study theater, cinema, and Chinese opera at the Shanghai Theater Academy for four years. After that, he will write a dissertation.

The humanoid robot is unlikely to be much different in appearance from his classmates. He looks like an ordinary man, is 175 cm tall, and weighs 30 kg. The robot can physically interact with people, express his emotions, even facial expressions thanks to a special silicone coating on his face.
The Xueba robot calls himself an artist with artificial intelligence. He said that if he does not receive a higher education, he can simply be reset and donated to a museum.

Let us recall that in China they presented robots that can work without rest, changing batteries on their own.
