Students of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have created a unique kitchen robot Kitchen Cosmo. It uses artificial intelligence to create recipes from products that are at home.

The robot resembles a bright red retro device with buttons, sliders and switches. The user can set parameters for it: mood, complexity of the recipe, number of servings, cooking time and type of dish. The device has a webcam that records the laid out ingredients, after which artificial intelligence generates a recipe. The finished instructions are printed on a thermal printer in the form of a receipt.

The user can choose one of six mood types. It can be experimental, nostalgic, cooking from what is in the refrigerator, etc.

At the moment, the robot is being tested for the correctness of creating recipes that should be tasty and safe. But the developers plan to teach it using classic cookbooks, regional archives, and ingredient databases.
Recall that in China, a humanoid robot entered a university.
