3 Simple Vermicelli Soups for Everyday Use: Step-by-Step Recipes

Vermicelli soup is considered one of the most popular dishes. It can be prepared in different ways, with the addition of meat, vegetables or even seafood. We at joy-pup offer three variations of vermicelli soups that are very easy to prepare.

Chicken Vermicelli Soup

Ingredients:

  • Chicken fillet – 300 g
  • Vermicelli – 100 g
  • Potatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Bay leaf – 1-2 pcs.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Greens (dill or parsley) for serving

Step-by-step preparation:

  • Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan, add chicken fillet and put on the fire. After boiling, remove the foam and reduce the heat. Cook for 20 minutes.
  • Cut the potatoes into cubes, carrots into circles, and finely chop the onion.
  • Add potatoes, carrots, and onions to the broth. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add the noodles to the boiling soup, stir well so that they do not stick together. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add bay leaf, salt, and pepper to taste.

Vegetable soup with noodles

Ingredients:

  • Noodles – 100 g
  • Potatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Bell pepper – 1 pc.
  • Tomato – 1 pc.
  • Vegetable oil — for frying
  • Salt, pepper — to taste
  • Greens — for serving

Step-by-step preparation:

  • Cut the potatoes into cubes, grate the carrots, cut the onion and bell pepper into small cubes.
  • Fry the onion and carrot in a frying pan with vegetable oil until golden brown. Add the chopped tomato and bell pepper, simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan, bring to a boil and add the potatoes. Cook for 10 minutes. Add the fried vegetables to the saucepan.
  • Pour in the noodles, stir. Cook for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Cheese soup with noodles

Ingredients:

  • Noodles — 100 g
  • Processed cheese — 200 g
  • Potatoes — 2 pcs.
  • Carrots — 1 pc.
  • Onions — 1 pc.
  • Salt, pepper — to taste
  • Greens — for serving

Step-by-step preparation:

  • Cut the potatoes into cubes, grate the carrots, finely chop the onion. Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan, bring to a boil and add the potatoes. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add the carrots and onions, cook for another 5 minutes. Add the processed cheese, stirring constantly until it dissolves completely.
  • Pour in the vermicelli, stir and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
