Avocados can be used in a wide variety of dishes. It has a rich taste and is also very nutritious. We at joy-pup offer an original recipe for stuffed avocado with meat that even gourmets will love.
Ingredients
- 2 large ripe avocados
- 200 g minced meat (beef or chicken is best)
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tomato
- 50g grated cheese (eg mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 tbsp. spoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (dill, parsley) for decoration
Step-by-step preparation of stuffed avocado
- Cut the avocado in half lengthwise and remove the pit. Carefully scoop out the pulp with a spoon, leaving the walls about 0.5 cm thick. Chop the avocado pulp and set aside.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add olive oil. Finely chop the onion and garlic, fry them in a frying pan until golden brown. Add minced meat to the pan and fry until cooked, stirring occasionally. Cut the tomato into cubes and add it to the minced meat, cook for another 3-4 minutes. Stir the chopped avocado pulp into the filling, add salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Fill the avocado halves with the prepared meat filling. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Place the stuffed avocados on a baking sheet and place in the preheated oven. Bake for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
Remove the cooked avocados from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
