Callas
Materials:
- double-sided colored paper;
- glue gun;
- green wire;
- yellow chenille yarn (for stamens);
- scissors and pencil.
Technique:
- Draw teardrop shapes on paper and cut them out.
- Fold the edges of each petal over to form a curved shape.
- Cut the wire 25-30 cm long to make the stems. Then twist the yellow chenille yarn around the top to make a stamen. The wire can be replaced with a bamboo skewer.
- Use a hot glue gun to attach the stem to the inside of the petal.
- Connect the base of the petal together and glue it in the shape of a lily.
- Cut out leaves from green paper. Make the part that you will glue the leaf to the wire a little longer. Glue the leaves randomly along the stem.
- Thus, make the number of flowers as needed for the bouquet. Then gather them up and tie them with ribbon or wrap them in paper.
You can also decorate a gift box with paper callas.
Flower with phrases on petals
Give your grandmother a touching gift by listing why you love her on each petal. Let the child cut and paste the flower of their choice. Please note that the petals must be large enough to fit the lettering. When the glue dries, let the child write the phrase in the middle of the flower: “I love my grandmother (name) because…”, and on the petals – explanations, for example:
- delicious pies;
- walks in the park;
- bedtime stories, etc.

Lavender
You will need:
purple corrugated paper (30 x 10.5 cm);
green paper (17 x 14 cm);
scissors;
glue.
How to do step by step:
- Take the purple paper and fold it in half twice.
- Using scissors, make cuts about 0.5 cm apart.
- Glue both sides together where there are no cuts, let the glue dry.
- We make a stem for paper lavender. Take green paper (17 x 14 cm) and start twisting it from one corner with a skewer. The use of a skewer is optional here, it just helps to get the perfect twist. Secure the ends with glue.
- Cut a little off both ends of the stem so they are perfectly round.
- Now take a rectangle of green paper (14 x 12 cm) and cut out leaves from it.
- We connect all the parts together. Take purple paper and attach one end of it to the top of the stem. Wrap it tightly around the paper stem, moving slowly down as you go, sticking it to the stem with glue.
- Glue the leaves around the stem and gently fluff the flower petals with your fingers.
