Tangerine tiny figures
Tangerines in a fruit vase can be turned into funny little people. If you love and know how to knit, make warm winter hats for them, use dry carnation buds to make eyes, also draw a nose and a smile with a marker.
Christmas balls made of tangerines
Earlier, Christmas trees were decorated with candles and sweets: nuts in foil, glazed gingerbread cookies, candies and fruits. Remember the old tradition and make Christmas tree decorations from tangerines. Simply remove the wire ties from the factory-made toys, stick them in the tangerines, and hang them on the tree.
Tangerine snowmen
Bright orange balls make wonderful snowmen.
You will need
- Tangerines
- Toothpicks
- Dry cloves
- Thin carrot sticks
- Dill sprigs
How to make a snowman
- Pick three tangerines: the largest for the bottom “ball”, a bit smaller for the middle, and the smallest for the top one.
- Stick toothpicks into the center of the middle ball on top and bottom sides and put the “head” and base on them.
- Make eyes from clove buds, nose from a block of carrots, draw a smile with a marker. Stick the hands into a medium tangerine – you can make them from dill twigs, or from the toothpicks as well.
- If wished, dress up the snowman: put on a plastic cap on its head, tie a scarf around the neck (for example, made from colored woolen threads or a narrow ribbon).

How to make a tangerine tree
1. Place the floristic sponge in a pot and fix a branch into it. For balance, harden with foam.
2. Cover the upper end of the branch with glue and put a round floristic sponge on it (you can buy it ready-made in a flower shop or on the Internet).
Lifehack: instead of a floral sponge, you can use polystyrene: glue several layers and cut the ball with a stationery knife.
3. Attach the tangerines to the ball one by one using toothpicks.
4. Decorate the tree and pot with green sisal (as shown in the photo).
